We’ve added some new series to our schedule again. It’s still challenging to stick to the schedule when you have so many exciting series to watch. So, the schedule remains much the same, but occasionally something sneaks in! On Mondays and Sundays, we now have two new series. Read on!

The Staircase
The Staircase is quite a long true crime series about the death or murder of a woman. Did she fall down the stairs, or was she murdered? We’ve only seen the beginning, so we have no idea. What struck me was the use of rather graphic images. They show some photos of the victim (from a fall or murder) and speculate if the blood spatter pattern matches what happened. But what also caught my attention was the somewhat amateurish approach in the questions and ideas from both the police and the defenders of the possible suspect. Very strange. No clue where this is heading. I think I prefer watching fiction, like Only Murders in the Building.
Sitcoms in between
Did you know that Always Sunny is still running? The series began in 2005, and now it’s on its 16th season. The seasons are also relatively short, but with 172 episodes, you have quite a journey ahead! We’re almost at the end of Vox Machina on Saturdays. This animated series is based on a web series (Critical Role) of Dungeons & Dragons games. Saturday morning cartoons are just part of my weekend routine.

Frasier
SkyShowtime
For quite some time, I’ve wanted to watch the sitcom Cheers again. Especially because we’re watching Frasier again. Now, we occasionally watch an episode from the box set we ordered, and I still find it enjoyable. And also on Sunday mornings, we’re into Perfect Strangers, the third season. That one also just made its way in. I’ve been eagerly waiting for the discs with the other seasons after we finished 1 & 2. It’s simple humor, with slapstick elements, and above all… nostalgic. How can we still find time for Kim’s Convenience and Twin Peaks?
